Women Tribe 2022: What a Year!
As 2022 quickly comes to a close, we at Women Tribe are grateful for the past several months that we have shared. We look back on the accomplishments from this year and are quickly humbled at all the amazing achievements.
A Wild Ride!
The idea of Women Tribe was brought to life by our amazing artist and CEO Izzy — A young Portuguese woman with an empowering vision and dream, who set out to change the world for the better through her art. The vibrant, bold colors used in the Women Tribe collection grab ahold of the viewers’ attention immediately drawing them in. The eye-captivating, beautiful imagery embodies sheer strength with an undertone of vulnerability. Izzy’s unique style and vibe has made an everlasting impact in the Web3 space. A collection of 10,000 empowering women NFTs, created to help women and all people embrace their inner divinity and power. Artwork that truly inspires!
Women Tribe launched in February of 2022, with a price point of 0.04 ETH. This was chosen specifically to allow for more opportunity and inclusivity into the space. Having the Women Tribe collection sell out in a matter of seconds was surreal and such an amazing, shared experience with the best community in Web3. Reaching this milestone allowed us to fulfill some very important goals:
- Donation of 4 ETH, matched by The Giving Block, to Outright International’s LBQ Connect Program.
2. Donation of 15.9 ETH to Girls Who Code.
3. Held a successful community-wide fundraiser to donate to Doctors Without Borders.
4. Hosted numerous giveaways for the Women Tribe community, including over 30 NFTs.
5. Held the first-ever WT in real-life event during NFT LA.
6. Creation of the Women Tribe Vault, which currently has 36 NFTs, voted on by the community.
7. Released High-Resolution WT Images.
8. Verified on Rarible.
9. Verified on LooksRare.
10. Verified on OpenSea.
11. Verified on Coinbase.
12. Purchased 2 Cornerstone land plots.
13. Released a staking opportunity through a partnership with Eyes of Fashion.
14. Released the Pride NFT.
15. Released Breast Cancer Awareness NFT.
16. Dropped WT official merch.
17. Partnered with Unstoppable Domains and Unstoppable Women of Web3.
18. Partnered with Exclusible Metaverse.
19. Partnered with Bubbles Platform.
20. Partnered with Bugatti Group.
21. Partnered with Mintology.
We also shared the AMAZING IP RIGHTS for our NFTs! While holding the
Women Tribe NFT, you’ll have a non-exclusive license/right to use it for personal use, as well as, commercialize the NFT and make merchandise with the art. These rights transfer with the sale of the NFT, providing the owner built-in utility with endless possibilities for creation.
PRIDE NFT!
At Women Tribe, we take pride in being able to help give back and donate to charities that resonate with our values and mission. We are truly grateful to be able to give back in such an impactful way with our Pride NFT. This piece was dropped this year in celebration of Pride Month.
· 75% of proceeds will be donated to OutRight International
· 25% of proceeds towards the creation of our WT DAO
The price of each Pride NFT is set at 0.02 ETH and there are a total of 2022 editions. This offer is yet another amazing way for the Women Tribe community to help give back while gaining an absolutely gorgeous and inspiring work of art.
Pivot!
There have been some extreme highs in 2022, as well as lows. In June of 2022, the Women Tribe team underwent a restructuring after a majority of the team chose to step away from the project. This was a critical moment for Women Tribe. Our current team is here, working diligently behind the scenes each and every day. We are dedicated to bringing the Women Tribe brand to the world! We continue to learn and evolve with the space; strategizing, moving forward, and focusing on our main goals and mission. We are looking forward to exciting new partnerships in 2023 and are determined to continue to make our mark in the Web3 space. We continue to push every day to bring value to our amazing Women Tribe community and help bridge the gap between Web2 and Web3.
Looking to the Future!
As we look to 2023, we are excited to have our Roadmap V1 completed soon into the New Year! Keep an eye out for announcements in our discord channel for more information about upcoming partnership details, collaborations, and giveaways. Women Tribe is here to stay and we are focused on becoming your go-to brand for Music, Fashion, and Fun! Our V2 roadmap overview will be announced in Q1 of 2023 and we are excited to share it with our community. We have dealt with our share of bumps in the road, but through it all, we have stayed true to the Women Tribe mission. Through curated partnerships, thoughtful donations to charity, educational scholarships, music events, special edition NFT launches, informative Twitter spaces, and ongoing community events we have and will continue to make our mark in Web3. As we look forward to what lies ahead for Women Tribe in 2023 and beyond, we are excited to continue to build the Women Tribe brand. A brand that is focused on music, fashion, empowerment, and fun, with an overarching goal to help everyone embrace their inner creativity and power. We are excited to share this journey together! And remember, we are all STRONGER TOGETHER TRIBE!
